Important changes to the Grundtvig Workshops action for 2013
24th September 2012
The European Commission have announced significant changes to the Grundtvig Workshops action for the 2013 Call. Any organisation intending to submit an application for funding for the 21 February 2013 deadline will need to ensure their application meets the new funding criteria as set out in a Corrigendum to the Official Programme Guide.
Workshops will now focus exclusively on providing training for adult education teachers, trainers and staff on the topic of literacy in adult education. Adult learners will no longer be an eligible target group for this action and this is reflected in the change of name from ‘Learner Workshops’ to ‘Workshops’.
It is important to note that if you have had a funding application for a Learner Workshop approved in 2012 you can continue with the delivery of the activity as planned, even it takes place in 2013. If you would like to find out about Lifelong Learning Programme activities that involve adult learners, you can explore the other opportunities on offer through the Grundtvig programme.

Ecorys, the UK National Agency, has launched a new blog for the Leonardo (vocational training), Grundtvig (adult education) and Transversal (Study Visits) programmes - three parts of the Lifelong Learning Programme.
